I mean it's true. A lot of adults, from everyday people to some of the most famous people on earth are still mentally stuck in high school. And it shows in the art that is currently popular, in terms of both music and films. It's also getting harder and harder to make art for adults, with attention spans being so terrible that anything that has decent pacing is now considered a "slow burn", and people having less life experience when compared to their parents or grandparents at a similar age.

I watched Oppenheimer recently on a plane and was astonished that the whole movie basically just felt like a montage, jumping around every 3 seconds. Admittedly I didn't quite finish the movie so maybe it gets better at the end. And I'm sure this was an intentional choice, but I didn't really like it if it was.

I just looked it up, apparently the average shot length was 3.2 seconds.
