Adjusting to the reality that Japan isn’t full of walking booba waifus
I was eating with a friend in a Shinjuku bar once when the only other foreigner in the place came up to us because we were speaking English. Dude proceeded to rant about how women in Japan were "stuck up bitches" because they refused to date him.
Nothing more entertaining than an orientalist fetishizing white dude running head on into the reality that actual Asian women don’t conform to the submissive geisha fantasy in their head.
"Japan is good because it's an ethnostate and hates foreigners!"
"Wait, what do you mean Japanese people don't know their place as filthy brown peasants and just treat me like royalty? Do they not know they are angering a God!?!?"
