Yea, that light diffusion technique they were using (I can’t remember the name) is definitely interesting!
Gaussian splatting, and yeah it looks like fascinating tech! From what little bit I can understand of it, it seems even more impressive just how much detail they were able to get out of it. I wanna see them experiment more with it.
Seems like they will ... they first demonstrated it a while ago now, so they're definitely keen.
