I'm finally back home and I've walked into a fucking shit show. There's 5 cops out the front of my house, 3 staff from my organisation and my bedroom is 33ยฐ

Seriously, what the fuck.

(The new YP moved in on Thursday while I was away. I'd hazard a guess that's why it's a shitshow)

Update: I spoke with the program coordinator and it seems that this is just how lead tenant will be from now on. She said that PCU (the people who match kids to houses, essentially) has new leadership or something, and the new leader wants to shut down, or minimise the use of resi placements. Apparently she no longer gets to exercise as much discretion as she once could in which referrals are accepted. Apparently the new YP had been referred before but wasn't accepted, but has been re-referred and the coordinator was pressured into accepting.

She also said that she thinks this new YP will be kicked out of the program eventually, but that she doesn't get a say in the matter and knows the cost of that is likely that I won't cope well. Those were her words.

This is genuinely impressive considering how cold it is outside. Hope you get things under control and stay safe

Honestly... Yeah. That's over double what it is outside! I'd guess it's been on for days and he's just had his door or window open

Happy cake day! Wow, wonder what the heating bill is gonna be like lol

(Being pedantic) Also, temperature doesn't "start" at 0ยฐC, so it's not "double" what it is outside. 0 C is still ~ 273 Kelvin.
