Yep. Thereโ€™s something about tinned or jar cooked things that just isnโ€™t right. Sort of sticky clammy. Need my thesaurus!

It's the surface tension, they are stringy thick. They also use fats that don't melt in your mouth. They are too sweet.

100% on the too sweet. Never found a jar salsa that wasnโ€™t effectively jam.
