I mean 4 seconds is a very short time, but here goes nothing:
"FOUR!"
The whole station is shouting in union as our eyes are glued to the big screens in front of us.
"THREE!"
The cameras show the rocket flying directly onto the asteroid.
"TWO!"
I watch in shock as one of the rockets suddenly stops burning. A few others notice as well and stop mid-word.
"ONE!"
The whole room now notices the tragedy, as the rocket misses its target.
A giant explosion fills the screen and my only thought is "Hopefully it changed directions far enough."
