This is an excellent question. There are big tins with a variety of popcorn. Why don't theaters do this?

You really need to experience homemade kettle corn. It's a bit of a process, and way more work than just popping a bag in the microwave, but it's absolutely delicious.

But it looks like they are at a movie theater. That was my point.

Where else do you walk up to a counter with a giant machine popping pop corn and they ask you “sweet or salty?” Where do you go where that happens?
