i kinda thought the combat scenes were lame in the fallout show, especially the power armor fights which looked like goofy marvel hulk fights where people got thrown around into walls instead of destroyed, which isn't even accurate to the game, and the ghoul guy was too accurate to the game and looked exactly like he was a player standing out in the open and using VATS to instantly headshot everyone. i get why fans of the game nerd out about the latter but i think it looked lame AF and took me right out of any sense of immersion i may have had. Plus, when the fuck did fallout power armor get Iron Man Hand Thrusters? Like in FO4 theres a jetpack mod, but the Iron Man flight in addition to the Hulk-style, bloodless, throw-people-through-walls and send-people-flying-with-a-punch combat just took me right out of the fallout setting and had me thinking of Marvel slop the whole time.
