Very easy. I sponge and stipple on browns, hull red, and then orange on top, with the orange more on raised details and edges I want to draw attention to. I recently did a war rig that I made a thread in here that is entirely done up in this way.
And here's another example of the effect.
I'm going to have to give this a try when I go to paint some Mek Boys in a few weeks (I've got too much going on this month ๐ญ)
And dn that little car looks awesome, have you painted a bunch of those because I'd love to see more of them
