Military has been more resistant (relatively) compared to other parts of the Indian Government. I'm not saying a coup couldn't happen but that's the less likely scenario.
The elections aren't very fair so the likelihood of the opposition winning is low. But if they win I'm not sure what the BJP is going to do? Jan 6th but on much larger scale?
what the PRI did in Mexico in the 90s, just lie about the results, say you won, and stay in goverment, Jan 6 happen because the trumps base had no support in the goverment but in india is diferent, the BJP has been a political force for decades and whats stops Modi from declaring President's rule over congress majority states
