Imagine trying to impress a Chinese guy with your national cuisine and picking spaghetti.
funny thing is in Chinese the literal translation of spaghetti is "italian noodles" (yi da li mien)
It sounded in the video like she was just saying "Italian" (yi ta li ein).
nah it was yi da li mien. Tones were right.

I love cacio e pepe but dandan noodles or Lanzhou beef noodle soup blows it out of the water
Spaghetti isn't bad but I think every other cuisines noodle dishes I've tried blows it out the water
Even other Italian noodle dishes blow it out of the water.
Tbf I don't think there's really translations for all the different Italian pasta dishes, or if there is I don't think they're widely known
What she said literally translates to "Italian noodles" which is understood as pasta or spaghetti
It's one of the most iconic dishes though.
And chinese for spaghetti is apparently italy noodles
