But sure- we're both culpable in genocide as US taxpayers but I guess you're absolved because you shriek at strangers on lemmy about it.

I'm complicit! If I had an ounce of courage I'd do something that matters, not fucking post. I'm crushed by my guilt. Why aren't you?

Because letting my guilt 'crush' me doesn't help anyone. I let it motivate me to vote, donate, and volunteer- things that actually make a small but tangible difference in the world. The guilt means you're human, letting it crush you makes you useless.
