These ads all came from the same issue of LIFE Magazine, around 1950:
Holy Silent Spring and Merchants of Doubt, Clair Patterson! That's some Nuka-cola snake oil shit right there. Ye gods.

You can almost feel the paranoia that some folks have about a little bit of dirt or a couple of bugs in their house forming in 20th century advertising.
