The article also points out that Biden has been fighting against people on death row who are trying to get their death sentence removed...
so it isn't like there's no scrutiny, at least at the moment.
unfortunately, a fraction of people make it as far as the actual article
Trump gets top billing for what he may eventually do, Biden gets a paragraph sandwiched in the middle for what his administration is currently carrying out
Also he’s president. He has the power to permanently commute their sentences to life imprisonment instead. If he cared about stopping this he could do it in 5 minutes.
