Primarily for those who don't already have a discussion group. We started a few weeks ago, and this week's text is Mao's "On Contradiction".

You can join the group at #reading-group:genzedong.xyz (an encrypted room), either through the GenZedong Matrix space (see this post) or by asking for an invitation in this thread.

It won't require intensive reading/listening; it should be doable for anyone who works or studies full time. We're currently following a study plan from China, but we can add recommended texts (decided by vote)

I was able to make an account on the website but I can’t login on the iOS element app. I get an error saying “Cannot find a server at this URL, please check it is correct.”

On what homeserver did you register, and did you enter the same one in the app? By default it's all matrix.org

I registered on genzedong.xyz, I tried a different app (Syphon) and that seemed to work. Not sure what's going on with element
