The comments are fucking awful
people say theyre being threatened with death if they dont show adoration have never seen how fans react to a celebrity or rock concert. the idea of people genuinely liking a politician is just so forlorn to them
Also, like, if they all really despised him, then they’d just coup his ass. There’s this illogical nature to these “all stick no carrot” fear-based analyses of foreign leaders antagonistic to the West. As if pure force of personality can maintain a state.
It's like how everyone in the DPRK has apparently been living in post apocalyptic conditions for decades and yet the government hasn't collapsed somehow.
