This just further cements my initial opinion upon first hearing Radiohead's music a long time ago, which is that they aren't actually that good.

I've worked with Radiohead fans. They'd play through that whole trite discography and I'd just have to put up with shitty electronic elements and impotent moaning for hours. And then years later I found out they sucked as people, too.

Be me, on stage: Iโ€™m fiddling with my pedal knobs for ten minutes and my fans are cumming in their pants

Radiohead is at its best when it's someone else covering Radiohead. OK Computer is a brilliant album and I haven't listened to the original in years. It has songs that Brad Mehldau can turn into 19 minute jazz piano solos (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aD-b1j_huxY) and that a cello octet can reinterpret (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FF99S5Y8mV4). The original has all that complexity held back by generic 1990s alt-rock instrumentation. Radiohead is the most boring Radiohead cover band.
