Season 1 benefitted from the disruption caused by Covid. It gave Tony an extra year to polish the scripts, any they were inventive enough to be able to turn subsequent restrictions to their benefit (e.g. filming in a park rather than a jungle for Kenari, having the Aldani festival just be dead-enders, using directors whose experience in British TV meant they were used to delivering within budget). Other shows weren't so lucky though, and it was often evident in the final product that they'd been made during Covid.

It's a shame that the strikes are happening when they are, I suppose. The issues they're fighting for have been looming for years - I'm sure actors saw the portrayal of Tarkin in Rogue One, and realised it's what studios would like to do, without even waiting for them to die first.
