Tbf, if you know how to install Linux from a usb drive the proxmox should be a breeze. After you run though the install, go to the url it prints out and mess around. The UI is pretty straight forward.

Oh good. Ubuntu server and docker are being a real learning experience which while I appreciate I would prefer a bit of hand holding from my os

Well the good news is I know now that my problem continues. Idk why haos couldn’t ping GitHub and proxmox can’t ping 8.8.8.8, while ubuntu server freely accessed docker, but at least I know I’m not crazy in this way
