It really depends on the outfit. I don't know what I could wear that with other than a blue paisley shirt and black boots. If you have full cowboy vibes, it's probably more versatile.

I’m planning on wearing it with black running shorts, white tank top and some black Reebok sneakers

Oh, go for it then. If you can get them, blue laces for your sneakers would really tie the outfit together.

I can kind of see it, except for the shorts. Cowboy hat always evokes tight pants to me for some reason.
