This is the stupidest thing they could possibly do. How in the hell would Trump be any better on that one specific issue?

Step 1: vote for the "lesser evil" because you have to; Step 2: the "lesser evil" props up the "greater evil" [1] [2] so they can continue to be the "lesser evil" while getting increasingly worse; Step 3: see step 1

on every other issue he's going to be a demented (literally) nightmare tearing down the foundations of democracy in any way he can so he can keep power this time

The foundations of democracy? Then the corporations will have no say! He's too late to the game, genuinely. Besides, Biden's already building Trump's border wall and arresting peaceful protestors. The only thing Trump can do is make more sexist jokes instead of being like Biden and doing his SA in private.
