Just popped up in my feed. I loved Starship Troopers as a kid, not knowing the satire underneath. Anyways, it's a nice interview.

I haven't seen 2, but I have seen 3. 3 keeps that same kind of fascist tone, but by the end of the movie it has morphed into Christofacism. Plus cool robot suits. The effects seemed cheaper than the OG, but I haven't seen it since 08-09 so I don't know if they look much worse now or if they hold up about the same.
