I thought about going into the thread and pointing out that Biden didn't even have Trump's guy at the USPS, Louis DeJoy, shitcanned. What's the point of giving Biden/dem political power if they won't even make a minimal effort to use it? But the Bluesky libs usually won't engage in any meaningful way. It can be a liberal HOA over there.
It can be worse than r/politics. There's no downvote button to make them feel smug and superior as they downvote or comment-lecture. They usually ignore me or are a bit obnoxious. Others block or mute me. I've only been at Bluesky a bit more than a month and already 100+ people are blocking me and plus an unknown number are probably muting me.
I do want to point out that killing the post office is a bi-partisan effort that has been ongoing for a decade or more.

's postal appointees in a fit of doing the bare minimum.
Still - in the run-up to the elections why wouldn't DeJoy do some oopsie election fuckery affecting the mail of blue counties because - of course - mail-in ballots would be affected too. The worst that could happen if Trump wins is nothing. And if Biden wins - the worst is still nothing.
It's basically privatized because it's being held afloat by Amazon now. God forbid the government takes a loss and keep a necessary service running. It has to make money!
More than just the postal service. Biden kept Trump's FBI director too.
Simple: Biden is a smol bean and can't do anything. But trump is going to destroy democracy on day one somehow
