Completely off-topic, but US had a case where the ghost was a witness in their own murder. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greenbrier_Ghost

That is completely fucking bonkers, even for the US, even for the time. Love it.

It isn't quite as blitheringly insane as it sounds though, what with the whole broken neck thing.

That's an interesting story, but the ghost was not a witness.

The mother of the murdered woman claims she saw her ghost and told her that the husband did it. The prosecution didn't even bring up the ghost during the trial, it was the defense, who was trying to discredit the mother as a witness.
