What are your symptoms?
headaches (occasionally properly really hard hitting migraines), dizziness, finding it hard to remember common words sometimes, weakness in my left side, kind of foggy brain that makes it hard to think clearly, finding it hard to do complex tasks or reading comprehension or keep track of time, occasional spikes of agressive feelings when normally I'm quite a calm person, also a constant weird feeling in the top of my head on the inside just a bit further back and ever so slightly above the forehead. I'm not sure when exactly it started but i've been noticing it for a bit more than a month or maybe two now, being unstable on my feet has basically been a life long thing though, all of my friends and family have always made jokes about how clumsy i am and how much i fall over
I'm pretty sure it's not a brain tumour though because all the symptons they list that i match up with seem a lot more extreme than the ones i have and I have no family history of tumours really except for my grandad on my dads side, and his wasnt a brain tumour.
This is the one that stands out to me, it's commonly related to strokes. Definitely get checked out as soon as you can and mention that specific symptom.
will do o7
, there's a GP within walking distance of where i live and a proper hospital just a short bus journey away
sounds like a stroke seek help urgently
If it's impacting your daily life to that extent it definitely sounds like you should go. It's probably not a tumor (I'm not a doctor though), but it's something. Maybe go to an urgent care, or maybe your PCP/GP if you can get an appointment within a couple days and depending on how it develops. I don't think you need to mention a tumor, just say you have a weird feeling in that specific spot.
If you plan on driving yourself, take it slow at first and see if your ability to drive is too impaired. If it is, get someone else to take you.
Or if you live in a country with free healthcare you could probably just call for an ambulance and go to an ER. I don't know if that's overkill, but if you think you need it, it will be fine (if you're not in America).
im a brit so healthcare's free (for now) and there's a hospital a short bus drive away from me so I'll go and get it checked out over the weekend, especially since i was planning on going into town for groceries and to visit my grandma tomorrow anyway
