Context: Trump's lawyers are in front of the Supreme Court arguing that presidents cannot be prosecuted for any crimes they commit while in office.

just want to point out how inherently fascist that is because like it's basically saying "yeah hitler did nothing wrong, he was president after all"

The reverse is almost certainly true, I guarantee that all of the supreme court justices have some justification ready to go for all the German judges who stayed on the bench from 1933-1945. The law is the law, after all
