How the hell does a society even function at 60c?
Like, if this is how the world is going to be everywhere, how do we actually do this?
We're not going to be the first species to go extinct, but we will be the first ones to do while having the option not to.
I don't think it will be extinction, but a very prolonged suffering for whoever ends up "last".
Sure, we might not die out entirely, but bad things are certainly coming and we're likely past the point where we can avoid the horrors.
