Do not make up post tags. New releases should be tagged [FRESH], [FRESH ALBUM] (or MIXTAPE) or [FRESH VIDEO] only. [FRESH] tags should only be applied to official music & music videos, not leaks, interviews, articles, art, live footage, etc. [SHOTS FIRED] should only be used for legitimate beef, not jokes or competition among artists.
Song posts must follow the 'Artist - Title (Description)' format with 80 character or less descriptions. Hashtagged keywords & emojis in titles are not allowed.

2. Sopuli Instance Rules
In addition to our community rules, please abide by the rules of our instance host, Sopuli:

Chris Brown is one of those auto downvote lemmy words/names. His album and the recent deluxe are great albums. Always are.
As the Hip-Hop community grows, the numbers should figure themselves out, because this was an impeccable diss track.
I’m hoping so! I hate this crazy one sided ignorance in the fediverse on so many topics.
It'll take a bit of time. It wasn't so long ago that the fediverse had a reputation of being hostile to black people. That's not so much the case any more and we're seeing more non white communities. With added diversity, we're starting to see more voices, plus with posting activity going up, people aren't able to camp ALL as much, so we're not seeing things downvoted just because something doesn't fit someone's idea of perfection. It's sad that when you try and explain to people the wider consequences of downvoting things they're not apart of, they get upset and get defensive. But things are growing organically. I mean I'm even seeing you in various different threads more and that makes me happy.
I’ve been distant lately but I’m always browsing /all. We seem to have similar interests too. Other than Eminem 😂.
It was fairly basic for a diss track, he was disrespectful but it wasnt particulalrly creative or a show of force.
That's one of the wider questions, has the quality gone down in this era or are we just over exposed.
