Rattlesnakes showed signs of reduced stress when they were kept with a companion, according to a new study. It’s evidence that reptiles — much like humans — rely on their social ties to stay calm.

I figured we could all use some news that’s just a little lighter.

And hopefully we start to climb out of this medieval mentality of thinking humans more godlike than animal-like and doing away with all of the oppressive hegemonic and selfish ideologies that have plagued western civilisation.
