I agree. I always knew it would be tough to win all of our remaining fixtures. And we all know City have proved time and again how irritatingly well they perform in this period of a season. And only 2 teams in the past what, 5-6 years have gone toe to toe with them.

My disappointment isn't that we lost, it's how we lost. Credit to Villa who kept themselves in the game, but although their defence was erratic and they were wasteful in front of goal, Liverpool were on the front foot the whole game. Crystal Palace also defended exceptionally well.

But, you're right. This is where the lads need to shake off the loss and pick up from where they left off. The groundwork has been set since January. We've seen their fortitude against Porto, City and Bayern inn recent weeks. There's no reason they can't push on and challenge until the final match day.
