Can you imagine pulling this shit over $8,000?? That amount of money isn't the sort of money that's nothing to a business owner, but in the face of this sort of thing????? There are people that could have been a million dollars deep in the hole and had enough of a brain and a heart to go 'this is stupid, morally bankrupt, and not even worth the risk'

It's not about the $8000, it's about defeating the unionization effort and sending a warning to the other employees.
