Unrelated, but is something up with this dude's neck?

He is always covering it with a scarf. Hickey fetish or what?

I cover parts of my body I do not want displayed. Do you do otherwise?

[–] anarchoilluminati@hexbear.net 7 points 1 year ago (2 children)

Yeah, but does anyone know why he doesn't want his neck displayed?

Is it important not to ask? Not everything is a faux pas shrouded in secret.

I figured it it was really personal to him, then no one would probably have an answer to my question, which would be fine.

But if it wasn't really personal to him, then someone would probably have an answer to my question.

Yeah idk, feels like something he would talk about if he wanted to or of it was important. He was probably told it looks good on him.

He did talk about it apparently. He wears clothes to be ready for his own funeral every day and the scarf is to protect his voice.

Someone else answered below.

Scarves are cool

I looked it up and found this from an article

West said Martin Luther King, Jr. told the youth in Birmingham to put on their “good clothes” because those good clothes were cemetery clothes, and they had to be “coffin ready,” given their commitment to love and justice.

He went on to say, “So, every morning I put on my cemetery clothes. I’m coffin ready” The scarf, he said, has to do with his preserving his voice. Something he learned from Luther Vandross.

Ooh, thanks! That's actually pretty cool. I like that.
