Comments that are nested too deep simply become unreadable.

If you go to settings -> comments -> padding style, I set it to minimum which helped. Probably would still have the same issue eventually but it hasn't happened since

Long press on a setting to copy a link to clipboard

Settings shortcut: Comments > Padding style
