It doesn't have a reputation aside from people calling everyone tankies getting banned and somehow blaming it on ml.
I'm not banned anywhere at this point.
They also made Lemmygrad.

It's not really my job to take care of your media competency and I don't really care whether you believe it or not but it is pretty well known that the Lemmy devs are Tankies, which you can easily see on the Lemmy Github page when you look at the main contributors like Dessalines or Nutomic.
Yeah if I had one gripe with fediverse it's that you can't migrate what instance you're attached to, I'm fine with .ee at the moment but if it ever went sideways I wouldn't want to lose all my user history just to switch instances.
