Everything I learn about the history of woo makes me hate these people more. God damn Nazi hippies.
There is a very short and very fast-moving pipeline that exists between the spiritualist woo hippie thing and fascism.

I was already vaguely aware of it, although it's just recently that I found out that the kind of "alien" soul a lot of them think they have is just a tall white guy with blonde hair and blue eyes, which is so much worse than thinking your soul is like, a grey or a space octopus or something.
If you don't want to waste your time digging into the trash heap just to add frustration to your life I respect that choice but if you want to learn more about it there's this piece on it
