The federal and provincial governments have driven the proles into permanent debt. It is not possible to raise kids in Canada without being financially crippled, unless you were rich to begin with. It is up to all levels of government to either orchestrate their economy to the point that the majority of citizens have an income sufficient to provide for kids, OR provide the resources for raising kids directly.
