What a weird way to report.
Yeah it's really indicative of how low the bar has been set for content. Writing an article about someone else's article could only fly on the modern internet where everyone is desperately competing for even a second of your attention.
"I read a thing where someone said this. I don't have anything to add, either in opinion or fact checking or even context. I'm just going to quote what I read, without sources, and paste it here."
