Named the ape Salazar which I am sure is not a reference to anyone.
I gave him the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe it's a reference to the RE4 character, but then I saw the badge on its helmet.

Salazar was the fascist prime minister of Portugal from 1932 to 1968. People within the whole ape NFT sphere keep making obtuse reference to fascist figures and iconography.
Less likely is it's a reference to Salazar Slytherin, an evil racist wizard from Harry Potter.
