Y'all, this is why you need to vote, including your local races. All an ideology like this needs to grow is fertile ground, a propaganda apparatus to spread it, and a willing legislature.

Vote like your lives depend on it, vote like your families' and friends' lives depend on it, because it very well might.

It doesn't occur to us that everyone has been voting this whole time because it's patently and demonstrably false. The very best America has done since 1900 was about 66% (2020 Presidential cycle). 49% in the 2018 midterm was the highest since 1914.

Those numbers are also based off the number of registered voters, the percentage of the entire eligible voter population is lower.
