Have you ever actually beaten #Contra?

If so (or even if not 🤷‍♂️), #TheVideoGameLibrary recently catalogued this rare #ChooseYourOwnAdventure novel.

It was published by Konami back in 1988, and follows an original story with characters Bill and Lance.

@thevglibrary @bookstodon Can anyone read the #kanji? The #furigana below them read kon-to-ra, so I imagine the kanji are just used for their phonetic pronunciation? I'd love to know what someone who can actually read kanji thinks!

@thraximundar Hello, I could be a bit tired, so I'm not quite certain what you mean by the #kanji being used for their phonetic pronunciation. But the kanji does indeed read as "コントラ". ৻( •̀ ᗜ •́ ৻)
