In short: Malaysia has rejected an offer to host the 2026 Commonwealth Games.

Officials said cost, time constraints and a lack of funding all contributed to its decision.

What's next? It remains unclear who will host the event.

That's not as crazy as it sounds. It would actually make alot of sense for the Gold Coast to host this stuff since it's economy is primarily tourism-driven.

Also last I checked Tom won by a landslide so it's not like the Goldcoast would be against the idea
