It's the dunk tank.

This is where you come to post big-brained hot takes by chuds, libs, or even fellow leftists, and tear them to itty-bitty pieces with precision dunkstrikes.

Rule 1: All posts must include links to the subject matter, and no identifying information should be redacted.

Rule 2: If your source is a reactionary website, please use archive.is instead of linking directly.

Rule 3: No sectarianism.

Rule 4: TERF/SWERFs Not Welcome

Rule 5: No ableism of any kind (that includes stuff like libt*rd)

Rule 6: Do not post fellow hexbears.

I haven't seen so much effort put into a set in years. This would decent if it wasn't so damn propogandistic. Of course the message is "communism hates science".

From the Netflix science-fiction series Three Body Problem

This is what i imagine when i think about life out there in the universe, and why we haven't found anything yet. In my opinion we should let go of the idea of openly screaming out our location to the universe, we have no idea what lurks in the dark, and whenever i hear someone say they want to "meet" the aliens all i can think of is how foolish and dangerous such an idea is. We have to keep quiet and put our house in order, lest we attract the attention of our own doom. +132

Just a random Youtube comment on a random video about the subject, this is the most common interpretation of the theory, what other conclusion are you supposed to come to, of course it's bloodthirsty the universe in the series is literally getting torn apart by genocidal wars and even Earth gets got in the end

It's only thru the most ass-pull of technical contrivances that there are any Humans to keep the storyline going by the end of book 2, like I get it the author wanted to make some mangled point about mutually assured destruction, but boy did he pick a funny way of going about it, literally needed space magic to make his point and premise coexist
