I know and it was in favor for socialism/communism, just not for Josef Stalin.

Why do you think he wrote the allegory? What was his point? "Stalin pig"?

[–] TokenBoomer@lemmy.world 0 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Oh. I think the meme is that there more to leftist theory than Animal Farm.

[–] Tartas1995@discuss.tchncs.de 4 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Weird, you are the poster but you THINK the meme is something. And who thinks that animal farm is the whole leftist theory?

Next up, my meme is that there is more to tomato sauce than bacon. (Some people put bacon in their tomato sauce).

I post when I have something to add to the platform as a post and not a random meme that I don't understand and think it might mean something but I am not sure.

Hush theyre trying really hard to convince us all they dont post these memes with an agenda to push, u might disrupt them!

[–] Tartas1995@discuss.tchncs.de 3 points 1 year ago (2 children)

My issue is that I believe that there is an Agenda but their post history is just so random at times. Sometimes pro and then contra Stalin. I Don't know, they might be just weird

[–] Pan_Ziemniak@midwest.social 3 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Good observation.

The goal of foreign interest groups/ops is to sow discord and make us ineffectual by way of instigating infighting. Most of the shills i recognize post extremely frequently, with over half their posts seeming inoccuous. The catch is that they control the news those who only get their news from lemmy/reddit get, and even if theyre posting something true, doesnt mean its not chosen to keep ur attention in a certain direction, and away from another. Like how they keep everyone in arms over Gaza, but theyve also effectively drowned out the Ukranian conversation, which is much more conseqeuntial on the world stage and also features a much larger scale genocide.

The pro/against stalin thing doesnt surprise me, hut i cant say ive noticed it prior to now. They dont need to worry about truth or honesty, they just need to sow that discord, and keep u upset at ur fellow man.

I wish I got paid to post Marxist memes.

My agenda is to create engagement on a platform I think deserves appreciation. I’m an International Anarchist at heart, but I’ll post anything I find funny or interesting. I posted a conservative meme once, that did not go well.

[–] Tartas1995@discuss.tchncs.de 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

How did you find a meme funny or interesting that you are seemingly unsure of how to interpret? Don't get me wrong, I am not saying you are being paid or anything. I am saying your behavior is weird to me and I am trying to understand the motivation. And seemingly many people find you odd.

[–] TokenBoomer@lemmy.world 0 points 1 year ago (2 children)

Because it is not original content, I can’t be sure of the intent of the creator, I can only interpret it. I’m not being paid, I would post the same regardless. Do you know how much money we can make from Trump supporters? I can only guess why people find me odd. I don’t fall into dogmatic loyalties like Blue MAGA, or Stalin did nothing wrong, or China is “communism.” I don’t seek validation from any groups online, that way is folly. All media is propaganda. There is no flawless nation-states. But I can’t abide misinformation and outright lies. I wouldn’t want someone to misinform me, so I try not to misinform others. The golden rule.

I’ve recently come to accept that we’re never getting socialism in my lifetime, and America is more likely to turn fascist than social democratic. Climate Change is gonna destabilize all nations in the coming years, and life is fantastically absurd. People take themselves way too seriously like they’re gonna change the world when social dynamics dictate otherwise. Americans are hopelessly undereducated to effect real change and that ain’t changing anytime soon. So, we should all live are best lives and have fun while we can.

Why don’t you post, do you not have an opinion?
