Context:

This is a question I got asked on a forum of a video game server from a game mostly played by an older audience. That video game is Team Fortress Classic (1999, also known by its initialism TFC) which is the predecessor to the popularly known Team Fortress 2.

There is a non-gaming related section of the forum, and of course, politics often comes up in this section. Because of TFC's older audience, a fair bit of insufferable conservatives are among them.

Every different color represents a different person, and "Angel Jamie" is me.

Green responded "I always thought women had a vagina", in response to me answering another poster's question about why I don't want bottom surgery, as the forum knows that I'm trans. The poster who asked the question about bottom surgery was a more progressive member of this community and also an admin on the server. He was just curious and genuinely in good faith wanted to learn more. I kindly explained that I just don't have bottom dysphoria. I also clarified that I do not identify as a trans woman, but I identify as a transfeminine non-binary person instead and what that entailed and what not.

However, that didn't stop Green from saying "I always thought women had a vagina" in response to me saying "I don't want a vagina.". Yellow is an Israeli conservative who promotes a lot of just flat out hateful and Zionist shit on the forum. The subject of my hypothetical bottom surgery came up when Yellow told me that I should "dilate".

With all of this in mind, you can now see why I considered Green's response totally irrelevant, but Yellow ate it up anyway for some reason.

Red is a person who, for absolutely no good fucking reason, chimed in and said that Green's response is "totally coherent and relevant", and then hit me with a question that honestly has nothing to do with the subject matter of why I don't want bottom surgery at all, the one that I highlighted:

"Do you believe that a Trans Woman is a Cis Woman?"

Stupid questions aside, I just want to clarify that, not once in this thread up to this point, were we talking about things like whether or not trans women are women. This all stemmed from me, a transfem enby, saying that I do not want vaginoplasty.

You might also find Red to have this pretentious and performative good faith tone, constantly emphasizing that he "respects [me] as a human being". I should also add, in reference to the text in the first set of parentheses, that a lot of people assumed I was an "A.I." simply because I was arguing points that they were too stupid to comprehend the rationale behind. It was super common for the chuds here to think I might actually be an "A.I." installed by a server admin, which is ludicrous and says far more about them than it does about me. I think the "Do you believe that a Trans Woman is a Cis Woman?" question sounds more like it could be generated from AI than anything else.

This fucker did this kind of "I VAlue ResPEct So muCH! 🤓" shit the whole thread, and he tried to appeal so moral and self-righteous through it all. As a matter of fact, this other poster beyond the screenshot accused me of being a p*do simply because I'm trans, and when I "disrespectfully" snapped back, Red said that I'm "bullying" that poster, all while saying nothing about his inflammatory insult/accusation.

That tells you how disingenuous he is. But regardless, the question is insanely stupid, and for obvious reasons. I hardly know what the fuck he's even getting at or if he knows what the terms "trans" and "cis" actually mean.

The question is about as sensible as asking "Do you believe that a tall woman is a short woman?", and I was never truly able to scope out his intention behind such a silly question.

No, I don't believe that a "[word] woman" is a "[antonym of word] woman". That's contradictory, but I guess the point is that they're both women either fucking way.

Check the timestamps on the post, by the way. This shit went down on July 30, 2023, but I went ahead and dug it back up anyway simply because it flashed into my head for no reason. This thread is now archived, so nobody can post on it today, but it's certainly something that happened shamefully on the internet.
