What's for dinner folks? I'm thinking either Chinese style eggplant with capsicum and minced tvp to go with rice, or a quick dal to go with upma (savoury semolina mush)

Onya, you definitely deserve a Friday night out. I'd have a look at adjacent suburbs like St Kilda East, even Elwood and Balaclava aren't as prissy as I thought they would be (I know that's why you moved out of your last suburb).
