I live in a very segregated city, but the upside is that all the neighbors are loud and we're all OK with it. the whole complex smells amazing every weekend and there's nearly always somewhere to dance. i'm trying to be sympathetic to people with sound sensitivities, but i was raised around loud people that party all the time. that's what life is supposed to be like. the only problem is that the white neighborhoods end up full of nazis, so we can't actually do the cultural enclave thing that would give them the unnatural peace and quiet that they're looking for.
