Does anyone else get the vibe that Reddit is just a bunch of gen x and older millennials? Like I keep seeing the most caustically stupid takes and satanic racism on that site, which doesn't necessarily mean that younger people can't be among those groups, but still.
Like the combination of deeply unserious and uncalibrated takes, abused and overused memes, and racism/-phobias just scream 35-50s.
Compared to TikTok, the environment and posts are just SO MUCH different.
It was originally all wealthy tech-bros and that has absolutely shaped the userbase to this day.
