I'm still waiting for that one person who actually did something here that worked long term to show the others how to do it.

Clive Bundy appropriated federal lands, held an armed standoff with the government, and got away with it.

For small debts, I'm sure many have successfully got them discharged, because it's not worth the effort of a collection company. Not because they figured out the color ink and magic phrase though.
