Miyamoto shares Nintendo is working on the sequel to the Super Mario Bros. Movie. Expected April 3rd, 2026 in the US. Some Mario games release dates are announce in the end:

  • Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door - May 23, 2024.
  • Luigi's Mansion 2 HD - June 27, 2024
  • Dr. Mario, Mario Golf and Mario tennis available March 12, 2024 on Game Boy Nintendo Online.

It was mentioned before that Nintendo prefers to release only one installment of game on each console. Not a very strict rule, I guess, but still, chances of 2nd 3D Mario on current Switch have always been very low.

Personally, I don't think we will get any major new release on Switch now, but I won't mind being proved wrong.
