Used to be "prepping" as a lifestyle was linked to right wing and conspiracy theory ideologies. But as the economy and the ecology crumble, more and more people of all political views are making plans to withdraw from society and protect their own.

Maybe because we see US separatists, which we failed to 'appease', planning another full blown insurrection without fear of retribution or any true consequences?
